What is HEARING LOSS ASSOC.-QUIET CORNER?
We are a Self-Help for Hard of Hearing People, a national, volunteer, non-profit organization for people of all ages with various degrees of hearing loss.

Who belongs to Hearing Loss Assoc.-Quiet Corner?
People of all ages with various degrees of hearing loss belong to this organization. Also, family, friends, and professionals in the field are also members of Hearing Loss Association.

How do members of Hearing Loss Assoc.-Quiet Corner  communicate? 
Members communicate in various ways: voice, hearing aids, assistive devices, cochlear implants or sign language.

Where and when does the Hearing Loss Assoc.- Quiet Corner group meet?
The  group meets the second Saturday of each month ( with the exception of July and August when there is no meeting), from 10:30 to 12:00 in the Community Room at the Ashford Senior Housing Community Room, across from the  Ashford Town Hall, located on Route 44 in Ashford, CT. The Hall is wheelchair accessible.

What do the  meetings offer?
The meetings offer individuals the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in audio technologies, legislative issues facing hard-of-hearing people and coping strategies.

Why should you think about becoming a member?
The group gives members a chance to socialize with others like themselves, receive support and information from members and form new friendships.
